After going though all of my posts, I realized that I posted pretty much everyday. Now I barely post. I can tell you why. My co-workers would basically read it and discuss it at work. This was to the point management got involved, but I guess they never addressed it with me directly. It would mean they’d have to admit that they didn’t have control over their employees wouldn’t it?
I used to talk about my life. Now things are way different then they were when I started this blog. A lot of people I dealt with are gone or I don’t ever have to see them again. Which is a nice thought. I still make the perfect target as I’ve been told.
You know this world is scary. I feel that going grocery shopping, let alone out to a bar wouldn’t be ideal. I feel like people just go around attacking, harming, stalking, or killing people a lot more now than ever before. I personally hate being around others because I get sick real easily. Still it makes me anxious thinking about how you could just be going to the gas station or running into McDonald’s and there’s someone just there trying to hurt you in some way.
With all of these horrible events happening, the world seems to be a scary place. People getting upset over someones sexuality. Someone getting upset because someone didn’t feel comfortable in their own body. Making a big a deal about cartoons. I don’t understand. I guess I feel that if someone is unhappy and they feel like being who they want to be is what will make them happy, then let them. I’m not just talking about sexuality or gender. I’m talking about people changing careers. I’m talking about people wanting to move to another state or even another country. As long as they are happy. I think we should juts let people be themselves.
I’m not sure why people want to be in everyone else’s business like a nosy ass neighbor who stands outside and can tell you everything Joseph and Nancy did all day in great detail. I feel like no matter how much people preach how we are in the novel 1984, which we aren’t. That eventually it will be that way. We won’t be able to decide what to wear, eat, who we marry. Well in America any way.
I still don’t understand how anyone would think it’s ok that a 10 year old give birth to a baby after she was assaulted. Can you imagine having to have an emergency surgery that could save your life, but because of the abortion law in whatever state you happen to be in, you will just have to die. Not only will you die, but the baby that you are carrying is going to die too. Can you imagine that you’ve been married to someone for years, but because of the law, being in an interracial relationship might mean you’re breaking the law. Welcome to the 1960’s. Still it just wouldn’t be just Black and White couples any more. That would include Hispanic and White, Asian and White, Black and Hispanic, Asian and Black, and any other combination. Love could be outlawed all because it’s hard to say really. It’s it racisim? Is it just ignorance? Is it hatred? Is it conservatism?
I don’t know but my bible and my God taught me I should love everyone. Is the bible a farce then? Is Jesus even real? This type of knee jerk reactions to pacify a few makes me wonder if religion is even necessary. People have a habit of using God as a way to assist them in doing evil things. They’ll say God told me to do this. God spoke to me and I’m going to say this. I don’t think God would be happy about that.
I guess I feel like if we are to love like God loves, then yeah he hates when we do things that he doesn’t like, but at the same time he made us with free will. He tried several times to make us see our evil ways. Still it didn’t help man and even the Angels joined in and wanted to be with man. So he sent us Jesus so we can repent for our sins. However I think even he would be disappointed in man currently.
We put others above him. We put material objects above him. The bible says, put no man before me. Still people have. People go on rants about how God has made someone chosen, when we have Jesus to rely on. I won’t say who but we all know. What happened to God? What happened to Jesus? What happened when Moses came back with the first set of commandments? When Moses came down from Mt. Sinai, the people had made idols to worship. They immediately wanted something to worship. They couldn’t keep their faith. Possibly not their fault as they were raised in “heathen” religions. Still they weren’t patient enough and I guess you could say gave up on Moses’ God. Moses got so upset he dropped the first commandments and rent his clothes. Which a lot of men did back then. No idea how many commandments he might have had since he was gone so long. Could have been 10, 20, or even 50. We’ll never know. Still Moses, Gods servant, didn’t get to go to the promise land because he sinned. God was not merciful then. Thank God for Jesus.
I guess I feel like, if it doesn’t affect you why do you care. Who cares if there is a LGBTQIA+ person next to you? Who cares if someone of a minority group is next to you? Are they bothering you personally? I mean if they are doing something to you, then the answer would be yes. Is their existence bothering you that much that you have to go on a rant every day about it? Well someone answered yes to that. I just feel like let everyone live their life. I’m living my life, why can’t they. If you don’t want to be around someone from those communities, then you don’t have to. That’s your choice. Still why stick your nose in their life or business, if it’s not affecting you. If you really think about it, none of us should exist. The only reason why we do is well *cough* science, or God. I mean yes the human body is very intricate and complicated and we can’t actually duplicate it. But we need medical science that helps keep us alive.
It’s like a stalker. A stalker wants to be in every asset of your life. Why? Nosy? Just because? Possible mental health issues? Sorry been watching a lot of true crime and stalkers seem to be a main one. I even saw one on Netflix. I know a person *cough* Claudia O., who would be perfect for that show. I also have relative that stalks their exes and other family members. Then have the nerve to call someone else crazy for believing they are being stalked. I digress. They feel the need to be in that persons life. Not sure why though. It’s like a crazy ex girlfriend stalking her boyfriend or an ex husband stalking their wife. It doesn’t make sense to me I guess. Maybe someone else. Yes I’ve been hurt enough to want to know what my ex was up to, but didn’t bother because it’s crazy. I’m not going to peep through their window. You know I thought people were just joking about that with one of my co-workers, but maybe she did do that. Which I’m probably sure that was true.
Any way back to minorities and the LGBTQIA+ communities. First I’m going to talk about minorities. People tend to treat minorities like they don’t matter. Belittle them. Make them feel like they have to work 20 times harder than most people to the point, they work themselves to death or never ever move up. Also depends on the minority. This is also the same for women too. Women are called bitches for trying to climb the ladder like a man. From what I heard in the LGBTQIA+ communities, they feel the same way. They feel they have to work harder than everyone else. Now add that they are a minority group. Kind of sucks.
Still what amazes me is that people act like the LGBTQIA+ community is new. It’s not. There have been gay and lesbian royalty. There have been transgendered men and women. It’s just that we made it be a focus and unlawful at some point. Grant back in those days they didn’t treat them all that great, but it seemed more like they were OK with it. Like knowing a royal had male and female lovers didn’t bother them. Might have been a scandal but uh as they say…”It’s good to be the King/Queen.” I think the difference is back then sexuality didn’t define who a person was. Straight men would sleep with other men and it would be like just sex for them. I could say something inappropriate, but I won’t. They didn’t freak out because and question their sexuality. To them it was just sex and they got what they wanted and went on their way. Not too sure about lesbians to be honest, not a lot of information. A very famous lesbian maybe, was Sappho. However most of her writings and her life story was either destroyed or created to fit certain narratives. She seemed to be really disliked and they kind of state she was married, but not really sure about that. Still I find that odd for that time period, if they weren’t celibate, they were probably sleeping with everything in their path. I bet you’re wondering why I know about this. I have been learning about the community more after watching a documentary about trans people. It’s interesting how some people react to the community. Plus I tend to find out some of my friends are LGBTQIA+. What kind of friend would I be if I didn’t try to understand their community?
I tend to think we are way more supportive of someone who loses weight because they are not comfortable in their skin. No I don’t mean people who work out and diet. I mean the ones who get the medical procedure. They have to get a part of their stomach or intestine taken out or reduced in size. Once they get that surgery, they have to go back and get the excess skin they lost taken off. Depending on how much weight they lost they could go back for multiple surgeries. Still if someone wants to change their sex, it’s not acceptable even if they might look like a model in that new body.
I still don’t get adults getting upset over cartoons. Remember the old Looney Tunes? They were violent, racist, sexist, and even sometimes there was cross dressing. People are getting upset because a character is gay. People are getting upset because a character was a different race before. People are getting upset because they gender swapped the character. People are getting upset because the character used to have bigger boobs. Yes…someone got upset. People getting upset because Gonzo wore a dress. I mean Bugs Bunny dressed up like a female viking and tricked Elmer Fudd. So I’m not sure why people got upset about that. Of all of the Muppets he seems to be the most gender neutral of the bunch and he is married to a chicken. So do what you want with that. Look people want to see themselves on screen. I get it. Maybe everyone should start their own cartoon, make it what they want. Still, if a creator wants to change their own characters, then why not? As long as someone owns the right to something, they are going to do what they want with that franchise, character, or story. Even more so for public domain. Do you think if a person created an all black cartoon, besides the Proud Family, people would watch it? I don’t know. Still there are some things that people want to identify with. Plus most of these cartoons are geared towards kids. So it’s made so they can see themselves.
Well I ranted about everything, but what is actually causing me anxiety. All of these attacks on people. The shootings. What is going on? One would say it kind of triggers some of my fears and anxieties. I don’t get it. It makes you not want to do anything even though you have to live.
